Poorly babies and children brought to the surgery will always be seen even if attending outside of normal surgery hours – please make the receptionist aware of your particular needs when booking in.

Should you feel that a home visit may be necessary for you or somebody else please:

  • Call the surgery on 01283 840228 before 11am.
  • Be prepared to tell the receptionist about your condition so we can prioritise the most urgent cases and arrange the most appropriate course of action.
  • Ensure the surgery has up to date details of your address and telephone number.

Minor Injuries

Accidents do happen!

But there may be an alternative to Accident and Emergency…

At Abbots Bromley Surgery, we are responsible for your care from 8am until 6.30pm, Monday to Friday. This duty of care includes minor injuries which, for the most part, can be managed by your GP and/or Practice Nurse. For most minor injuries, the medical staff at the practice will be able to offer immediate first aid, treatment, advice or onward referral. This service is available throughout the day, as we appreciate that you can’t always predict when an Accident might happen.

Of course, in the case of serious or life threatening injuries, 999 should always be your first call.

So for bumps, grazes, sprains and other minor injuries, contact Abbot Bromley Surgery for advice before heading to Accident and Emergency.
