Flu Vaccine Update
Based on evidence that the flu vaccine’s effectiveness can wane over time in adults we have been advised to delay the start of the flu vaccine campaign for 2024/2025. The surgery will be taking bookings from the start of October.
The vaccine will be offered to:
* Anyone over the age of 65
* Those aged between 18-65 who are clinically at risk
* Carers in receipt of carer’s allowance or who are the main career to someone who is clinically at risk
Housebound patients will be contacted in due course with information on the day we will be vaccinating them at home.
